  • The practice of CTO-PCI has been widely accepted in all over the world after the introduction of the drug-eluting stent.
  • Many participants from the world joined the Japanese CTO club in the mid 2000's.
  • Those who had a strong mind to learn the essence of CTO-PCI came to Toyohashi Heart Center.

Experience at Toyohashi Heart Center

  • Mecca for chronic total occlusion PCI- both coronary and peripheral.
  • Exposure to all complex CTO and other coronary procedures.
  • Routine use of IVUS guided PCI, and other dedicated lesion specific devices.
  • Total over 1400 PCI /year are performed.
  • High exposure to all modalities of intravascular imaging in clinical practice.
